How is your approach different from regular therapy or counselling?

Traditional therapy often focuses on the conscious mind—talking through problems, understanding patterns, managing symptoms, and failing to deal with underlying issues.

Zest Quest uses a two-pronged method of

1)     Working directly with the subconscious mind and nervous system, where unhealthy patterns are stored; and

2)     An informative approach of introducing and implementing new concepts, knowledge and perspectives.

The Process draws from multiple therapeutic modalities with an intention of clients embracing their true self-identity, self-worth and self-love with healthy, empowering strategies. Instead of managing symptoms for years, we resolve root causes—typically in just a few sessions for the core transformation work.

You're not getting a cookie-cutter approach. You're getting a customized combination of proven techniques specifically tailored to your unique situation.

Will I have to relive my painful experiences?

No, absolutely not! My approach is designed to be supportive and empowering and not re-traumatizing. You don't need to tell me every painful detail or relive distressing events.

We work with your subconscious and body to discharge emotional charges and shift limiting beliefs—all while you remain in control and feeling safe throughout the entire process.

Clients talk of feeling lighter and no longer being affected by their past events and old patterns.

How quickly will I see results?

Most clients notice they have more hope and possibility from the very first session and start experience positive shifts quickly. The core transformation work of healing emotional wounding typically takes 3-4 sessions, though some clients need more time in the foundation phase depending on their situation.

The Foundation Package is 10 sessions over approximately 20 weeks. Everyone's journey is unique, but results are consistently faster and long-lasting compared to traditional long-term therapy. Positive results and fulfilling experiences are waiting for you.

Do you only work with major issues? What about everyday anxiety or stress?

I work with a full spectrum of struggles:

I'm not sure I have any past "issues." Will this still help me?

Absolutely. You don't need to have identifiable past events to benefit from this work.

If you're anxious, reactive, stuck, or struggling—there are likely subconscious patterns and beliefs holding you back. These can come from childhood experiences, accumulated stress, absorbed beliefs from your environment, or relationship patterns.

This work helps anyone who feels like they're not living at their full potential or who wants to break free from limiting patterns.

How long is the full program?

The Zest Quest Process is designed to take clients through three phases of a healing journey with a focus of healing emotional wounds and developing their relationship with themselves.

 

The Foundation Package is 10 sessions, scheduled fortnightly (every two weeks), which means approximately 20 weeks and is designed for people who are looking to make positive, lasting changes in their lives. Not everyone completes all three phases in 10 sessions—some clients need more time depending on their complexity and starting point.

 

Other clients chose not to embark on the Zest Quest Process and come for specific needs. Either way we are there to fully support, guide and nurture each unique client to heal and grow.

 

After the Zest Quest Process, you can choose to continue with the optional Momentum Package for ongoing support and continued growth.

Do you work with men, women, or both? What about groups?

Women and men present and communicate differently and hence my style of work recognises these differences and adjusts accordingly.  I work with both men and women in individual therapy, and I also facilitate specialised groups of single and mixed genders.

 

My approach is highly tailored and I deeply understand the unique challenges faced by women and men as I support them through their own healing journeys. Several of my women clients have commented on how safe they feel working with me.

 

Additionally, I have had years of experience facilitating groups to provide them with a group energy, sense of connection and belonging, and learning environment which is both respectful and fun.

Are sessions available online, or do I need to come to Brisbane?

Both! I offer in-person sessions in Brisbane, Australia and online video sessions via Zoom for clients across Australia and internationally. As long as you have a good internet connection, a suitable private space and we can clearly see each other on screen, then we’re good to go.

 

The process works equally well in both formats, so you can choose what suits you best.
